Schwannoma is the one of the benign tumors that originates from the schwann cells which cover the peripheral nerves. It is commonly seen at sixth decade and often seen in head and neck. It rarely origins from intercostal nerves. It has the Antoni A and Antoni B cells in microscopic examination histopathologically. It is commonly asymptomatic as in our case but patients can have pain, paresthesia and signs of mass compression. The computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging are helpful for the location and characteristics of the tumor in the diagnosis. The surgical resection of mass is diagnostic and therapeutic. The total resection of mass via videothoracoscopy is more advantageous procedure with short length of stay in hospital and less incision.
