Abstract

We read with great interest and pleasure, the article The Ayre's T‐piece turns 80: A 21st century review [1], written by L. Oswald et al.

We would like to add that the circuit scheme of modern neonatal ventilators, for example, any version of the Dräger Babylog ^®, are derived from Ayre's T‐piece and its successor the Jackson‐Rees circuit.
