Major Depression (MD) is a severe mental disorder with lifetime prevalence rates of 17% (Kessler et al., 2005), mostly beginning between the ages of 12-18 years (Zisook et al., 2007). Up to 75% of children and adolescents with MD are affected by a depressive disorder as adults (Fombonne et al., 2001).
