Neurocritical patients usually have intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring and ICP has become a valuable parameter in the daily care of these patients during the past four decades. Neurosurgeons and neurointensivists adjust their treatment and estimate the outcome according to the trend of ICP, among other parameters.
