The study was conducted to evaluate the effect of age on the body weight gain and carcass traits of Ethiopian Boran breed bulls kept under natural pasture grazing management at middle rift valley of Ethiopia. A total of 32 Ethiopian Boran bulls of four age categories (2, 4, 6, 8 years) were used for the experiment. After twenty-four hours of death, various carcass yield measurement data were collected. Average daily gain (ADG) did not vary (p>0.05) among the age groups (4, 6, 8 years), however ADG was significantly lower (p0.05) among all age groups.
