Symptom burden related to cancer impairs quality of life and functional status in lung cancer patients and survivors. Pulmonary rehabilitation has been recognized as an effective, non-invasive intervention for patients with chronic respiratory disease. It is well established that pulmonary rehabilitation benefits chronic obstruction pulmonary disease (COPD) patients through improved exercise capacity and symptoms.
